About 10 years ago I was really unhappy and unfulfilled in life but I couldn’t figure out why. I had all of the signs of a good life from the outside, but on the inside I felt absolutely dead.

After a year of deep depression I knew something had to change. I did some self evaluation and came to the realization that I needed a long break from schedules, routines, bills, and the daily grind. So within 6 months I sold or donated everything I owned, packed a backpack with basics and bought a one-way ticket to a country I had never been to and didn't know anyone.

What I thought was going to be a year of exploring the world turned into a decade of exploring myself and some of the most beautiful and captivating places on the globe.

Beachy Brunette was created to help encourage and inspire others to travel and follow their passions in life, without waiting for permission from anyone else.
